Compare Your Resume with a Job Description
Use this free ATS resume checker to compare English-language keywords. It cannot predict an employer's ATS result or decide whether you are eligible.
How to Use the Free ATS Resume Checker
- Copy the role’s responsibilities and requirements from the employer’s current advertisement.
- Paste your resume as plain text. Remove your name, email, phone number, address, CNIC and other sensitive details before comparing.
- Select Compare Resume Keywords and review matching terms and terms to review.
- Improve relevant experience bullets with truthful examples, then compare again. Keep the employer’s actual requirements beside you.
What the Score Measures
The checker extracts unique English-language terms, removes a basic list of common words and compares them with your resume text. The percentage is the number of matching terms divided by the number of job-description terms considered. For example, 15 matches from 30 terms gives 50% keyword overlap.
Repeating a keyword does not increase its weight. Different spellings, abbreviations, synonyms and multiword phrases can produce imperfect matches. Review the lists yourself: a missing word does not necessarily mean a missing skill.
What This Tool Cannot Check
This tool does not connect to an employer’s applicant tracking system. It does not assess PDF layout, file parsing, interview suitability, qualification equivalence or official eligibility. There is no universal ATS pass mark. A high keyword score does not guarantee shortlisting, and a lower score does not automatically disqualify you.
Using It for PPSC, FPSC and Other Pakistan Jobs
You can compare an English-language government job advertisement with your CV, but the official advertisement determines eligibility. Check the specified qualification, experience, domicile, age limit, required documents and deadline separately. Aptub is independent of PPSC, FPSC and hiring departments.
Improve Your Resume Without Keyword Stuffing
- Use clear sections such as Experience, Education, Skills and Certifications.
- Describe what you did, which tools you used and the outcome. For example: “Built weekly Excel reports that reduced manual reporting time by two hours.” Use numbers only when you can support them.
- Include relevant terminology naturally in evidence-based experience bullets.
- Follow the employer’s instructions for file type, length and submission method.
Privacy and Data Handling
The comparison code runs in your browser and does not upload the text to an analysis service. This website also uses advertising and analytics services, so avoid entering sensitive personal information. The optional WhatsApp button shares only the tool’s link. See our privacy policy.
