Job Summary

Jackson Lewis P.C. seeks a dynamic Practice Support Operations Leader to oversee our Practice Support Operations team. This role collaborates with the Senior Director of Practice and Innovation, National Practice and Industry Heads, Practice Group Leaders (PGLs), and Industry Group Leaders (IGLs) to support firmwide Practice Group (PG) and Industry Group (IG) programs and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to support the operational needs of PGLs and IGLs, establishing best practices for efficient, standardized processes.
• Team Management: Lead and mentor the Practice Support Operations team, overseeing Practice and Industry Group Specialists to ensure high performance and alignment with firm goals.
• Operational Excellence: Partner with the Senior Director of Practice and Innovation, Practice Support Attorneys, and Practice Innovation Attorney to drive operational efficiency.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Communications, Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Talent, and Technology teams to support firmwide objectives.
• Content Management: Oversee the strategic plan for internal PG and IG content, maintaining a firmwide taxonomy for enhanced accessibility and searchability on the intranet.
• Project Management: Develop and execute a project roadmap to improve practice support operations, aligning with the firm’s strategic goals.
• Reporting: Provide updates on team progress to firm leadership.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Consult with internal and external stakeholders to advance project objectives.
• Onboarding Support: Manage processes for integrating new team members into practice and industry groups.
• Technology & Innovation: Facilitate collaboration on PG- and IG-related tech/innovation initiatives, including project implementation and rollout.
• Additional Duties: Undertake special projects as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 5–7+ years in administrative roles within a professional environment, ideally in law practice operations. Minimum 3+ years leading teams of attorneys or managing large cross-departmental projects.
• Leadership: Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of fostering team collaboration across departments.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication abilities.
• Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with a detail-oriented, proactive approach to projects.
• Project Management: Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and coordinating projects, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Financial Acumen: Experience managing budgets, processing invoices, and handling project-related finances.
• Problem-Solving: Strong ability to navigate complex projects and challenges.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $125,000–$140,000 (Colorado and Illinois), based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
