About the Role

As a PR Manager, you will lead strategic public relations campaigns to enhance brand awareness and reputation, with a particular emphasis on promoting our cybersecurity and fraud investigation efforts. You will collaborate with internal teams, media, influencers, and stakeholders to craft compelling narratives that highlight our commitment to innovation, security, and trust in the tech and financial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic PR Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive PR strategies to promote the brand’s leadership in mobile technology, cybersecurity, and fraud prevention.

  • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets to secure positive coverage.

  • Press Releases & Content Creation: Write and distribute engaging press releases, articles, and content to showcase the brand’s cybersecurity initiatives and fraud investigation successes.

  • Crisis Management: Proactively manage and mitigate reputational risks, including issues related to cybersecurity breaches or fraud incidents.

  • Influencer & KOL Collaborations: Partner with influencers and key opinion leaders (KOLs) to amplify brand messaging and cybersecurity awareness.

  • Event Management: Plan and execute PR events, product launches, and industry conferences to promote the brand’s innovations in Karachi and beyond.

  • Social Media & Digital PR: Oversee digital PR campaigns and social media strategies to engage audiences and highlight cybersecurity and fraud prevention efforts.

  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging cybersecurity challenges.

  • Internal Communication: Align PR efforts with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging around cybersecurity and fraud investigation initiatives.

  • PR Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze PR campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize future strategies.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in public relations, media relations, or corporate communications, ideally in the tech, mobile, or cybersecurity sectors.

  • Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong media networking abilities, and expertise in digital PR and social media strategies.

  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with mobile technology, cybersecurity frameworks, and fraud investigation processes is a plus. Knowledge of regulatory guidelines (e.g., State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) standards) is an advantage.

  • Location: Based in Karachi, with flexibility for hybrid work arrangements.

  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for events or media engagements across Pakistan as needed.
