Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer with a passion for Physical Design and PNR (Place & Route) flow? Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is looking for a highly skilled Electronics Engineering Lead to work on cutting-edge semiconductor technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing PNR flow on advanced process nodes (4nm, 5nm, 7nm, 10nm) with a strong focus on Floorplanning, Placement, Clock Tree Synthesis (CTS), and Timing Closure.
You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary development team to drive innovation and ensure the timely delivery of high-performance integrated circuits (ICs) and System-on-Chip (SoC) designs.
4+ years of experience in hardware engineering, VLSI design, or semiconductor design
3+ years of hands-on experience in PNR flow on advanced technology nodes (4nm, 5nm, 7nm, 10nm)
Expertise in Physical Design, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Floorplanning, Power Optimization, and Signal Integrity
Strong knowledge of EDA tools like Cadence Innovus, Synopsys ICC2, Mentor Calibre, and Ansys RedHawk
Experience with RTL-to-GDSII implementation, Low Power Design (UPF/CPF), and DFT methodologies
Implement PNR flow on latest semiconductor process nodes
Perform Floorplanning, Placement, CTS, Routing, and Timing Closure
Work closely with ASIC design teams, DFT engineers, and verification engineers
Optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) for high-speed, low-power chips
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality SoC and IC designs
Collaborate with EDA vendors to improve tool flows and methodologies
Work on next-gen semiconductor technologies
Collaborate with top engineers in the chip design industry
